Mettilotsava is a traditional function where devotees, singing the praise of the Lord and chanting Vedic hymns, ascend the steps leading to the temple and offer their worship to the Lord Almighty. This symbolizes the spiritual climb up the steps of faith and worship to Lord Almighty (विष्णोर्-लोकैक सोपानम्) while doing our prescribed duties, towards the ultimate goal of attaining our full innate bliss at His Lotus feet.
